The examination process is about to begin

The Planning Inspectorate has now confirmed the timetable for the next stage of the process.

If you've registered as an Interested Party, you should have received a Rule 6 Letter around 15th July. This contains everything you need to know about the examination timetable, key deadlines and how to take part.

Rather than cover every detail here, we simply want to highlight the important dates. We strongly encourage everyone to read their Rule 6 Letter and appendices carefully.

All hearings will be held in a blended format, so you can attend either in person or online. If you'd like to attend or speak, you'll need to register in advance using the Event Participation Form.

Wherever possible, we'd love supporters to attend in person. A strong local presence sends a powerful message about the level of community interest and concern.

Over the coming weeks we'll be sharing more guidance to help supporters understand what to expect and how to prepare.
